From arranging the safe delivery of a baby with a midwife or clinic, then providing home visits to check on the baby and mother, to first aid and health check-ups on all our school children, the Riverkids community nurse is always busy!
Riverkids is very fortunate to have the community nurse’s salary supported by a private Norwegian foundation. The community nurse also handles medical supplies and clinic and hospital visits, letting our social workers focus on other needs.
