Back from school! The truck rolls in and everyone shouts hello.

Welcome to Riverkids. We're the red gate with the big fruit trees in the courtyard, plus the sound of children playing.

Afternoon shower, then it's time to comb and plait hair with a zillion elastics.

Laundry hung out to dry - thirty uniforms every day for the boarders alone!

Elastic bands for a skipping rope and lots of shrieking. They do a lot of jumping and limbo type games, not so much skip-counting.

Find a fallen palm leaf and you can pull each other around for hours. Very funny when there are three kids on one leaf.
