Thanks to regular donors and fundraising, we can
expect about US$1,500-US$2,000 a month for the next
12 months.
That used to be enough.
Respite care from the slum relocation, the switch
from meal supports to full meals for the kids, the
move to the better house and hiring trained and
experienced staff - all this has added up.
Our expenses were US$1,800-US$2,200 a month. They’re
now about US$3,500 a month.
Is it worth it? Yes. We can reach the entire family,
not just the children. The children are safer and
healthier. Our staff are able to go beyond school
support to counselling, health education and more. We
are now doing so so much more.
But to get there we need another US$18,000 for the
next 12 months. That’s US$25 a month from sixty
people.
Please be one of those sixty.

Phew. We have been incredibly lucky to make every
month so far - usually by the skin of our teeth, but
we’ve done it thanks to all our donors - more than
fifty different people over the past ten months!
We have no reserves, which makes every month critical
and planning ahead harder. That’s why the 60 Good
People Campaign is so important. Regular donors help
us give the children security in lives that are often
out of control.
Thank you so much for your donations!

We’re a little under, and things are tough because
demand for weekly boarding and intervention keeps
climbing - so many kids and families are at last
starting to trust us and ask for help. So every
single donation has been very needed and appreciated.
