June finances are finally up - Cambodia's paperwork is much more organised now, but the Singapore paperwork is in files, so I only have the bits in emails on record until I can get the receipts file back for the shop related expenses.

We're trying a more detailed overview of finances, so bear with us as we sort this out properly! The finances are broken into four parts now:

We actually came up short on paper, but we had enough leftover from previous months that we still have a bit in the bank. May had quite expensive with kitting out places, but we expect June to be fairly quiet. July with the upcoming funfair may add up, but we aim to cover that expense entirely with specific donor help.

In April, the Singapore team made two trips to Phnom Penh and helped equip Steven's House as it moved to Stage 2, and Alexandra House as it settled into Stage 1 for the Get Ready! pilot. A lot of the funds were received as specific donations from our What To Give fundraiser. Thank you!

In March, the Children's House was running at Stage 1 properly (tuition, snacks and volunteer classes with a housemother), and the Family House was getting organized to start Stage 1 in April or May.

In February, we set up the first Children's House and began work on the Family House.

January had a few December expenses reimbursed then, so they're included in this month.

This is the last month that Riverkids Project managed the former-Riverkids House on St. 330 before that project was handed over to its new donors. We had a few late receipts that we reimbursed in January, so they're recorded in the January 2007 finances -- which is just being double-checked with February and will be up shortly.

My apologies October is up so late! November needs to be checked against the paper receipts, and will be put up after the Christmas rush, but so far looks about normal, with slightly higher medical expenses again due to one child with typhoid and another diagnosed with thassalemia major.

Pretty straightforward. A note on August though - Dale is going up in September to go through all the receipts etc, so both August and September will be published together at the end of September.

First off, apologies for not putting this up earlier. I assumed I had as the spreadsheets were all done and mailed off. The May spreadsheet does not have a second list of expenses, as those receipts were saved for June and bundled in with that.
